Development
Development projects include land development for cottage village construction in the Moscow and Samara regions.
The rising economic power of the Russian population finds its natural target for investment in the “dacha”, or country home, traditionally considered the status symbol for “respectable” families. During weekends and holidays the inhabitants of the metropolis seek to relax near the rivers and woods which surround the city, transferring to their country cottages or to resorts located along the major highways leading out of the city.
This phenomenon has lead to years of market growth, with newer villages showing improved quality in architerctural solutions, construction, and services. As the city expands and the “countryside” becomes increasingly “suburban”, the cottage village market is bound to develop further.
Origin invests in medium sized land plots in early stage of development, develops a project for subdivision of the plot and carries the project through all permission stages up to the obtainment of the construction permit, point at which a co-investor is sought for the building of infrastructure and communications or further for the construction of the cottages.
One such project regards the development of a 5,6 hectar land plot on the banks of a lake, 20 km north of Moscow (see picture sample below). The cottage village concept was developed by Antonio Citterio & Partners. (contact development@origin-ltd.com or click here for further details).
